Mern Palmer-Smith, owner of Coco’s on the Green, said the show will provide an in-depth look at fall and winter fashions, including casual, business and evening wear, and accessories such as jewelry, shoes and handbags. “Our store specializes in high-end designer clothing and accessories at great prices, so attendees will have the chance to see and buy the hottest fashions at prices they can afford.”
“Even better, Fashion for a Cause provides guests with a lovely evening out with friends, while giving back to the community,” added Mern. “All of the proceeds from the event will go to the Community Dining Room to help support all of the critical nutrition and education programming the deliver to the community, including tutoring, flu shots, blood pressure, body fat and glucose tolerance screenings, and healthy eating discussions. This event is a great way to thank them – and help them celebrate – 25 years’ of service to the community.”
The fashion show was the idea of Grace Kosciuk, a Branford High School senior and Coco's Retail Assistant. Grace is organizing the event as part of her Senior Expo Project.
