Many of our CT neighbors are struggling with food insecurity. The CDR, its volunteers and many friends are doing what we can to help fill this void. Please help today with a monetary or food donation. We particularly need canned goods: fruit, soup, broth, stew, tuna, beans. Please consider doing a simple food drive in your neighborhood! Thank you! [ read more ]

March is National Nutrition Month
In recognition of National Nutrition Month, in March the CDR will be serving more fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and fewer sweet desserts. Please join us in this effort and be especially mindful of good eating practices this month and beyond. Increased awareness can improve diet and health in general.
