Family Gift Package Guidelines

Thank you for providing holiday joy for a local family this year!

​

​All families participating in this program live in Branford and are required to document income eligibility.

​

NEW this year is  Anthony's Tree program, which will provide special toy gifts for our adopted families.  Please see this page for information about how to participate in Anthony's Tree.

​

When you sign up to adopt a family, you'll receive an email with your family identification code, and the ages and other information to purchase the family gift components for the children.

​

Please include ONLY the items listed below when you return your package.  

​

A family gift package is:

​

* A winter coat and a hat, mittens or gloves for each child (all items should be new);

* Suggestions for two gifts per child (total cost of both gifts not to exceed $50);

* Gift certificate to a local grocery store AND

* Gift certificate for a fun family activity.  Examples: bowling, laser tag, restaurant, movie passes, theater tickets.

Suggested amounts for gift certificates:

                                                     Groceries                     Family activity

Family of 1 or 2 children:              $75                              $50

Family of 3 children:                     $100                             $75

Family of 4 children:                     $125                             $100

​​We encourage groups and clubs to team up and create one, two or more holiday gift packages!  If you would like to donate to support our program rather than providing a family gift package, please click on the orange heart below.

​Please register by Monday, December 8 and drop off your items at the Community Dining Room by Friday, December 12.  Thank you so much for your generosity!
